Cheeseburger Pie

Recipe is from the Betty Crocker Cookbook.

I have made a couple of changes.

Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
Roasted Garlic and Herb seasoning by Weber
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup shredded cheddar
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
2 eggs

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray square glass pan.

2. Cook beef and seasonings. Drain. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with cheese.

3. Combine all other ingredients in a small bowl until blended. Pour over beef and cheese.

4. Bake 25 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Chocolate chip cookie sandwiches

The chocolate chip cookie recipe is from here. Really yummy.

I make these sandwiches with cream in the middle. Of course they would also be yummy with icing.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 to 2 TBS heavy whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients and mix at low speed until combined. Then beat on high until fluffy.

Side note: the more whipping cream you add, the creamier it tastes. If you want something sweeter, just add less cream.

Sloppy joes

Easiest recipe known to mankind.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
BBQ sauce
water

Brown the beef on the stovetop. Drain. Add BBQ sauce until covered and mix together. Then add water to thin things out to the consistency you like.

Serve on toasted hamburger buns.

Italian beef

Found the original recipe here.

I have made a couple of changes.

Ingredients:
3 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into large cubes
1 1/2 packages dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 cup beef broth

Place all ingredients into slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 6-7 hours. The meat should easily shred with a fork. It usually just falls apart. If it doesn't, cook longer.

I serve this on french rolls or sausage rolls cut in half. I put the meat on the bread, cover with provolone cheese, and place under the broil for a couple minutes until brown and toasty.
